About Tara

Tara Diversi is a down-to-earth, positive and empowering speaker who lives in the real world. She has jam packed her 30 years, and in her past lives, Tara has been a professional athlete, award-winning writer, specialist dietitian, counselor, executive coach and director of a successful small business.

Currently, she is helping people and organizations thrive in today’s environment. Tara is fascinated with how people work, how to engage them and how to influence others for good.  She has worked with a wide range of people - from front-line employees to executives and professional athletes. From those who were super committed, right through to the uninterested and down right lazy!

Tara ‘s qualifications and experiences are as varied as her thinking. As well as her Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics Tara holds a Graduate Diploma of Psychology and an MBA. She is a lecturer at the University of Sydney, and her business, Health Management Dietetics is located in Cairns. She regularly provides expert comment for the media, writes feature articles for major magazines and newspapers.

As a nutrition expert, Tara is the author of The Good Enough Diet (Wiley), a lecturer at the University of Sydney and spokesperson for the Dietitians Association of Australia. Her dietetic, exercise physiology and bone densiometry practices continue to run in North Queensland. Tara’s has worked with over 6000 people to help them improve their life and performance including CEOs and executives, health professionals, academy’s of sport and professional athletes (including teams, current NBA players and current world ultraman triathlon champion).

Her messages are relevant to all. Whether you are a CEO, manager, sales person, in a call centre, on the front line, or doing all of the above in your own small business, you will benefit from Tara’s knowledge, experience and personal stories on how you and your company can get the most out of today.

Tara helps people understand themselves and others better, achieve their best and promote positive behaviour change and achievement in themselves and others. No matter what strategy, innovation or technology we introduce, if we can’t get our people on board and engaged – it’s pointless.

Tara takes her work seriously, but doesn’t take herself too seriously. This means her presentation style and messages are motivating yet in a laid back, true Australian style.
